In a hotel room in ny...

Hey Everyone,

The following blog is brought to you with limited interruptions by water.

There are times when I think how cool it would be to have a carbon copy of myself; who will do what I say when I say to help me out with life. Unfortunately that scenerio only exists in my head.

My photography was partially put on hold as PRS and I are working on show promotions and
Univ-Con, our 7th annual paranormal conference. Ryan, Heather and I are in New York. We are going to do the CBS Early Show tomorrow. And its gonna be live. That's right live! Talk about pressure. Watch me trip as I go walking towards my seat; remember Serg, "right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot, left foot, right foot...no wait...damn it." See, I better write this on my hand so I don't screw this up.

But while I am here I can at least stop by and saw hi to me 'rents. It has been some time since I've seen them and I miss them. I feel bad, because I want to see so many of my friends but I can't. Russians I am so sorry...well I am sorry if you are reading this blog. If you are not, then I take that sorry back. I will buy you guys a drink, next time we are out.

The one thing that I love about New York is that it has a great cast of characters. All for me and my camera to observe and capture them. And that will be on my to do list after I get all this work stuff out of way.

Water: Just drink it.

Also, quick side note. Google just release a beta version of Picassa 3. This is one amazing program for PC users (they are working for a mac one), that will help with browsing through and organizing your photographs. You can check it out here: just because serg said click here, will you really do it?

Have a great weekend everyone; I need to go have a chat with myself.

Doing a live show infront of possibly the entire nation... that's alot to handle, I would probably pass out.

Your picture looks really good, very creative, might I suggest when you are merging two pictures together, make sure you can't see the line anywhere. For example, on the bottom, towards the floor, you can see the difference of light, try smudging it one pixel at a time, or you can use blur.
You could even select the place where the two pictures merge with a marque and adjust the lighting.

Picaso is a great little program. It is the only program I have ever used to edit my photographs. I have never been a fan of photoshop.

I know people love their photoshop but...it kindda sucks

But hey what the hell do I know... (okay everything!) HA

I need sleep

Hahah I could so imagine the mind games you would play with people if you had a twin. :)

The photos good. I dig it. You should do ones where you're making really strange expressions at yourself.

And be careful of buying those drinks to make up for not seeing friends...cause one drink turns into 5 guilty drinks, which turns into buying rounds for the entire bar, which turns into you waking up to the bartender poking you with a stick to peel you off his pool table where you have been drooling the smooth taste of vodka for a few hours. :)

I must get up early to see this trip and fall onto the stage. Or we'll just see your head fall past the camera and then pop up unsure of where to go with a very up close shot of your face, while you just hear commotion and frenzy as like you said this will be live...hahaha.
I'm sure you'll do just fine.

All the best,
Andi

These spliced images make for awesome 'self portrait' images. ;)

So, the Picassa software is something I thought I'd check out since I have way too many photos on my computer, and I LOVE it.

The collage feature is awesome (probably my favorite aspect of the software!) Thanks for leaving us a link to it!

Awww you did great Sergey, all three of you did great; I watched it. I love that photo of you Sergey, like Andi said you should do a photo with you doing funny expressions at yourself. Two Sergey's? I think that would be awesome. Double the everything.

I thought you guys did good on the early shoe, but think Ryan deserves 3 powdered towel hits for answering a question directed at you. Man what a media hog! just kidding;}

Another Sergey may seem awesome, but I doubt such awesomeness could ever be cloned! ;)
I always wanted that pic of 2 Sergies in a larger version...its so neato looking but whenever I try to enlarge it always turns out blurry :(
Hope everything went well for you in NY Serge and you come back soon with some cool photos for our viewing pleasure! :)

that is still my favorite picture you've ever taken. I'm waiting for you to top it - I'm sure it will happen eventually =]

Nic told me you were on the early show but not in time to have my parents tape it. i hope you were as graceful as always.

I feel so silly now because all I had to do all this time was just click on that picture to see it in a large version haha

Sunshine Angel,

I understand you must be nervous! But think of it this way: You've got something that the other students don't have and that's a little more life experience. It makes a huge difference, trust me, I've been there. You're going to be great cause you know you want to be great. That makes all the difference.
Good luck!
