On a side note: Thank you everyone for your feedback and comments regarding the Public Option blog. I appreciate everybody's opinions and thoughts about it. On that note, I am also going to go see Zombieland tonight. It's amazing how well its doing. I am such a sucker for zombie flicks. Its funny I haven't really put much thought in having a plan if the house is on fire...like what I would save, how I would get out... but I have schematics on my head in case of a zombie viral outbreak.

All I have to say is Woody Harrelson is awesome and brilliant. Here is a great review I just read on From the Dust Returned Blog. Don't worry, it won't spoil your viewing. Have fun at the movies!

Zombieland! Let me know how it is. I always ask people their opinion before I actually go see a movie. I took a quiz and it said I'd only have 65% chance of surviving a zombie invasion. Ah, well. I love zombie movies, too. I love the OLD Night of the Living Dead. They're all just so entertaining!
Have fun!
Watched the video. I'm sure in the next few years homes and offices will be adorned with this new technology. I admit I am a sucker for techie gadgets, and I am addicted to my cell phone-I wonder, will this make people even more distracted and addicted? Possibly, but the less cords I have to tangle myself into or try and organize, the less bitching I will do. It tends to put me in a bad mood when I can't figure how something is suppose to work!
As for zombies,
I've heard of a few cases of possible zombie viruses in third world countries, but have not heard any such thing in the U.S. It could have been fake, but you never know. Better to be safe than sorry, I think! I have seen the original Night of the Living Dead, it was years ago-and it was pretty cool! However I am a huge fan of Resident Evil and 28 Days/Weeks later. Sometimes I imagine myself as "Mia Y." and kickin some zombie's ass. I dunno why but I have some kind of fascination with her, she is definitely hot in my mind! Maybe it's the whole beauty vs. ugliness in the movies, but there is something erotic about it.
It's the boots. Yeah... definitely the boots. And the short skirt and big gun. ;)
I wouldn't push her out of bed.
Maybe the appeal is that she's a sexy, powerful & aggressive female in the role of a hardcore apocalyptic shit disturber. She's both extremes--soft and feminine but brutal and savage at the same time. The Tyler Durden of every woman... the alter ego every woman wants to be.
I'm writing a character similar to her (but cooler) for a script taking place during the apocalypse. I've kind of been sitting on that script for a while. Might be time to resurrect it.
I love zombie movies... One of my favorites is probably Shaun of the Dead. lol (Simon Pegg is friggin' awesome.) But even better than watching them is making them. The more blood the better!
(Speaking of Simon Pegg... anyone ever seen the show SPACED?)
I have YET to see Shaun of the Dead. Thanks for reminding me.
I've written several scripts but I never finish them. I think what happens is that I need time off from everything in my life in order to finish them, cause once I get distracted, that's it. It's buried in a tomb. I don't know how to keep going, when other things get in the way. Good luck on that script Clover!
Thanks. :)
You'll find that life never really gives you time, though. There's always something to distract you or that gets in the way. You just have to break through it...sit down and force yourself to do it (I say as I post youtube videos on Twitter).
I've been having a problem with writer's block lately, too. It seems that every time I brush one of my ideas off as lame, sooner or later, someone else comes out with the same idea (only less cool than I could have done it lol).
Definitely see Shaun of the Dead. I have a friend who looks exactly like him haha. Here's episode 1 of SPACED if you care to take a look.

I keep a baseball bat next to my bed. Not for intruders -- for zombies. So I'm reading ya loud and clear.
That video was the most exciting and awesome thing ever!! I drive a Toyota Camry Hybrid that has the remote-less ignition. I just leave my keys in my pocket or my purse press the power and I'm going. It's so amazingly awesome. It also detects when I am coming close to my car and unlocks it for me, the ultimate laziness pleasure. I could probably find another reason to say the word awesome like 5 more times. I have been waiting all of my life for someone to create this. I HATE plugging my phone in and I get nervous sweats when my laptop starts running on reserved battery power because I really am that gay. Thank you for sharing that an making my day/night/morning,.. I don't really know what to call the 4 a.ms.
