Away for a few days

Hey Everyone,

I am gonna be away for the next few days...what with a speaking gig with Ryan in Wisconsin followed by AGH/PRS Stanley event in Colorado. Should be fun with the masquerade ball, sneak peak at the entire AGH: The Movie, ghost hunts, snow ball fights, probably getting a cold somewhere in between, and of course...photography.

How Photographers Created Rock and Roll

So I know the theme for Wednesday should be: inspired by others. So I am gonna quickly throw a link out at you: http://www.npr.org/blogs/pictureshow/2009/10/indonesia.html?sc=fb&cc=fp

I really dig the Kurt Cobain photo. A genuine photo that captures the struggle he was dealing with.

Off to do the lecture....

Best,
Serg

Enjoy yourself! And of course, if you have time, take some photos. :) I agree with you about the Kurt Cobain photo. I love photos like that, the ones that capture someones emotions in such a raw way.

Hey Serg, have loads of fun at your speaking event and The Stanley field trip. I really wanted to go to The Stanley, but alas it did not work out. Instead I think I will read The Shining in honor of the event. If Ryan starts typing anything weird over and over again...just run....don't look back....run.

The rock n roll photo link was very cool. There is a really cool photography exhibit at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland if you ever get the chance to go. Loved the Cobain photo, and liked the Madonna and Ramones too.

Safe travels, and will look forward to some new photos from you!

Hey I've been to the Rock n Roll hall of fame in Cleveland. It was pretty cool! They had an exhibit dedicated to the Doors the time, I really liked it. As for Wisconsin. I am a native as you know Serg, and well I say I've had more fun living in other states but it is still home to me. Got great cheese, a great football team, and Milwaukee has some of the best festivals in the summer off the lake. I am a Nirvana fan myself, in 8th grade that is ALL I listened to. Was a tradegy what happened with Kurt...Well safe travels and see you tomorrow night!

BTW I agree with frogie014 you should come to MN to do a lecture... Just saying. :)

Take care and have fun!
