Facebook Photo

Hey all,

Seeing as how we are doing two cases back to back, I wanted to at least stop by here and give you, my fellow blog readers, a premiere of my facebook photo album.

Here is something written by, Kahlil Gibran, from The Prophet.

"I cannot teach you how to pray in words.
God listens not to your words save when He Himself utters them through your lips.
And I cannot teach you the prayer of the seas and the forests and the mountains.
But you who are born of the mountains and the forests and the seas can find their prayer in your heart,
And if you but listen in the stillness of the night you shall hear them saying in silence,
"Our God, who art our winged self, it is thy will in us that willeth."

Starring into the ocean, I couldn't help but feel a oneness with world.

Hi Sergey,
I looked up that Poet. Wow he is amazing. I had to look at more of his works. Here is one I wanted to share with you...

"Work is love made visible.
And if you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy.
For if you bake bread with indifference, you bake a bitter bread that feeds but half man's hunger.
And if you grudge the crushing of the grapes, your grudge distills a poison in the wine.
And if you sing though as angels, and love not the singing, you muffle man's ears to the voices of the day and the voices of the night."

I truly believe that if you can't love your work, then it will reap what you sow...

Your love for photography always shines through the results, and I truly believe it will take you further than you imagine, even right now. Don't ever give up on your dream.

On a side note, I am heading out to NYC Labor Day weekend. :D Any pointers for a first timer?? I am super excited, but also nervous as well, since I will be traveling some of the time alone.
Well I hope you and the gang have a splendid weekend! Peace always.
