So I currently have two photos on my desktop that are in work-in-process mode. I feel like I have a little bit more post processing to do, but for now I will share with you guys where I am at.
I merged the shadow figures with the greed vortex light from two different photographs
what is known as an HDR photo...taken in Colorado.

Those are really nice! I love the one taken in Colorado! What program do you use for editing/processing your photos? I work mostly with Photoshop, but I hear great reviews about Lightroom, too.
Love the photos! With the first one, did you mean to say *green instead of greed? Sorry am just confused if that was a typo or not :-)
Colorado is such a lovely state, I was so happy to be back there at the Stanley! (It was my 4th time!) I definitely want to work with some of my photos from that trip!
Hm, I think I have an afternoon project to do-Well after the Penn State game!
Have a great weekend!
Very cool photos! The second one reminds me a little of a local photographer in Jerome AZ. He takes pictures and changes them in Photoshop to look like painted landscapes with a heavy brush stroke.
Nice WIPs.
I do like the green one. It's kind of got a Poltergeisty feel to it.
I really like the Colorado pic. What is HDR? I have seen similar photos elsewhere, but I cannot tell what it is that makes them seem so otherworldly
Kris, on my laptop I used Photomatix Pro for the HDR image and Pixelmator for the green/shadowy one. Its kinda like Photoshop, but free. On my desktop at home I almost always use Lightroom, followed by Photoshop. I try to primarily use my desktop for editing and creating.
Stars, I did mean to say green...crazy lack of sleep schedule.
Dru and Superrawgirl...thank you for the compliments.
Robert, HDR stands for High Dynamic Range...and stick around, I will write about it this week.
Awesome photos. I especially like the green one. The one of Colorado is pretty to! I'm currently watching PS on both Youtube and TV! I can't get enough!

AHHH!!! Your eye for visuals is beautiful Serg! Keep up the good work.
I am glad you're going to write about it, cause I just downloaded to check it out, and it's confusing me!
Trying to save it in JPG, it won't let me, but I think I know what I gotta do...
Gonna need to futz around with it a bit.
Oh man...that picture of Colorado made me LONG to see the mountains again. ROAD TRIP!!!
Serg, I asked a friend how to do an HDR photo. I have done a few already. They look different. Keep up the great work on your photography! Take care!
I looked at the colorado one for about a hour, trying to turn the rocks and stones into people..its kind silly I know..
