Make the most of your weekend

Hey Everyone,

Hope all is well. We just wrapped up the first case for this week and today we will be continuing our investigation streak. Yesterday, Katrina took us to New Hope, PA where I got to get my photography on. Kinda made me look forward to get back to State College so that I can work on some a photo project or two.

Still working on the Music Photo challenge, and I saw that the 51 word challenge has been feeling rather lonely. So those are on my list as well.

Anyone have any movie suggestions?

Hey Serg, the movie "Pondorom" looks good to me, its by the makers of Resident Evil, which I am a huge fan of, so I may venture out and see it this weekend. That is if I can get someone brave enough to come see it with me! It looks pretty wicked. Have a good weekend yourself. I hope to see some of what you took yesterday, I love shooting old buildings, especially gothic churches. Which is making me now want to venture out to this place here, called Holy Hill. It's a monostary and church that sits on this big hill in the middle of these erie woods. In the fall, I love it. It's also haunted which is a bonus ;-) Take care, enjoy your weekend!

I'll have to disagree with the Halloween 2 recomendation. It was not as good as the first. I recomend District 9, Inglorious Basterds, and I think The Informant looks pretty good but have not seen yet.

I will be making the most of my weekend house hunting or apartment searching.

Have a good weekend all!

Bryn Athyn is close to New Hope. It's a really, really cool place. They have tons of castles and mansions.
If it wasn't the cathedral you were shooting then you should make time to go back there. Really awesome place, perfect for a photo shoot. http://www.brynathyncathedral.org/
It's also where the New Church was originated, which is my church although I don't practice it. It's based on the writings of Emmanuel Swedenborg who basically interprets the bible, he was called Buddha of the North. It's also the birthplace of the Helicopter, which is cool. One of my friend's was lucky enough to have been adopted into the family who built it and she has a pretty awesome trust fund. So random though.. Helicopters? I would've never thought.

I don't know about movies coming out right now, though I heard great things about Inglourious Basterds. An older movie (well, 2005) I've been really into lately though is Brick. It's a beautiful film. I've been recommending it to absolutely everyone.

Ah, I have a pretty long list of great movies to check out, though not all of them are new releases. Check out "Freeway" with Reese Witherspoon in it. It's kind of twisted, and isn't one of her well known movies, but it's one of my favorites! I have a huge list of horror movies, as well, if you'd like those, too.

If you want to see a new movie, though, I'm going with the rest of those who have commented about "Inglorious Basterds". Definitely check that one out.

Also, I have a small question that I was wondering if you could answer. I'm buying a new lens for my camera, and wanted to know if you have any recommendations on which one to get.

One of my favorite comedies is "Lone Star State of Mind".It has so many great quotes in it that my friends and famn-damily still use because they crack us up.It came out in 2002 and has D.J. Qualls, Joshua Jackson,Jamie King, and Thomas Haden Church.

What is the 51 word challenge? I am utterly lost. Haha. Oh, and don't see Halloween 2. It was horrible.

No movie ideas but I have a tv show idea. Heard of the show Sons of Anarchy? Plays on the American channel, FX. Check er out. Warning contains coarse language, nudity, and gore. I'm hooked.
