1000 Words or Less - 3

I love looking through old photographs. There is a crossroad of ingenuity, originally, finasse, and humor that is rare in our modern world. Today's theme is to hang in there. This will be the last week of January. Can you believe it? The month is almost over. With a blink of an eye it'll be a new year all over again.

I couldn't find much information about this photograph. But I suppose its pretty straightforward.

...the orignal spiderman....
...the dogs back then were ruthless so the postmen had to find a clever way to deliver the mail....
...look up, its a bird, no its a plane....wtf are you people smoking, how is that a bird or a plane. its some idiot hanging of a building....
...and he was never heard from again...

Stay tuned for next week's 1000 Words or Less as I will be doing a tribute to Rober Capa, a photojournalist who covered 5 different wars.

I hope for all you resolution setters, you are doing what you set out to do....yea I'll sometimes be that reminder for you guys. Hang in there, your resolutions will get easier.

I too love old photographs. I've been known to stand for hours at antique and second hand shop and just stare at them. I'm not sure if it's the color or the textures or just the fact that it's literally a vision from the past that I'm holding in my hand. Or maybe it's the process the photographer had to go through to get this product. And speaking of flashbacks I came across something the other day that I thought you'd like. You can find it here: http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2012/01/rippled-a-light-painting-music-video-shot-entirely-in-camera/. You may have already seen it but I was pretty amazed. Enjoy!
