I have yet to see a ghost...

... so I decided to paint one with light.

The Ghost

The Portal

Dare to reach out your hand into the darkness, to pull another hand into the light. ~Norman B. Rice

In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary. ~Aaron Rose

There are images I took with a couple of light tools. It is a technique that I am a huge fan of. It's called painting with light photography. I have talked about it in previous blogs, so I thought I would share some of the things I have painted...with light. I think what makes this image so striking is that it has not been photoshopped or created from any sort of computer graphics.

The tiles missing added a lot of depth to the last photo. I feel that really helped make the photo og from good to awesome. the portal photo I can't decide if the "ghosts" are going towards the light or coming to get me.

  4. Yeah I actually went to the site you posted earlier this year on the light photography and it is really cool and looks like fun to do..however I don't have the resources do it..I love the fact that it is all natural and no editing is involved..I heard in AGH chat that you are putting Josh to work lol, however I'm sure he needs something to do other than reading or hiking lol. Where do you guys hike around there? I have been through PA a couple times in the past, lotsa Amish live out there, but its cool lol..

I love light photography. These are absolutely spectacular. :D "The Ghost" mildly reminds me of some of the pieces from Sight Unseen, which I went to see because I read your post. :)

  11. Those are so cool... you are an amazing photographer. The one of the ghost reminds me of a ghost I used to see when I was little at my grandparent's old house.

  14. I thought you might find this hilarious...but only if you ever wondered what you and a few of your other friends would be like as Chippendale Dancers.

The link should work, or I am sure you could find it on the forums somewhere. Hope laughter ensues.

  17. It was I indeed who made it. I found the website through my friend Rachel, but thought you, and the rest of PRS would look fantastic as some Chippendale Dancers. You have to admit that I was right.

I went and posted it on the forums because I thought a lot of people would get a good laugh out of it, I even made one with some of the PRS girls...I took it down shortly after. Only because the image of Lorraine with bulging muscles just was not as funny as it sounded originally, lol.

By the way, I think your photography is amazing. Please never lose your spark for it.
